Section: Law Briefs The San Diego Press Club named Deputy District Attorney Jeff Dusek its headliner of the year. Dusek was one of 20 newsmakers honored March 6 for making positive contributions to the community. Also grabbing headliner awards were local business people, artists, activists, politicians and attorneys, among others. Attorney David Casey Jr. was honored in the legal excellence category, while San Diego District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis was honored in the political category. U.S. Attorney Carol Lam was honored for federal law enforcement.  |
