Casey Gerry Reed & Schenk announced the opening of a North County office, following the trend of local law firms moving closer to North County clients.

"The area has been booming for the last five years, so law firms are increasingly jumping on the bandwagon and opening second offices - both satellite and full service - in North County," said senior partner Frederick Schenk in a statement. "As San Diego County continues to grow and commute times increase, it may one day be a given that downtown law firms will have dual offices."

The 55-year-old firm is headquartered in Banker's Hill and also has an office in Palm Desert.
