David S. Casey Jr, was named Legal Professional of the Year by the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) May 3, at the SDCBA Bar Center, 1333 Seventh Ave. Casey, a senior partner with Casey Gerry Reed & Schenk, was recognized in part for his work on behalf of September 11 victims. Serving as vice president of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA), Casey played a key role in organizing a moratorium on civil lawsuits related to the attacks.
