SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Casey Gerry Reed & Schenk (CGRS) has hired Todd D. Carpenter as a new associate, according to David S. Casey Jr., a senior partner with the prominent plaintiff's law firm.

"We are pleased to have such a talented new addition to our staff," said Casey, who noted that Carpenter will concentrate his practice on serious personal injury, consumer fraud, product liability and diet supplement litigation.

A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Carpenter received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, where he received that school’s Scholar’s Scholarship for four consecutive years.

Carpenter was previously a law clerk -- focusing on business and civil litigation and personal injury -- at the San Diego law offices of Thorsnes, Bartolotta & McGuire. He was also a law clerk with Neil, Dymott, Perkins, Brown & Frank, where he was a member of that firm’s business and employment litigation a nd medical malpractice teams. In addition, he is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego Kappa Sigma Alumni Association and the Surf Law Society.
