Shari Schenk, director of marketing at the law offices of Casey Gerry Reed & Schenk, has been named a member of the State Commission for Economic Development. Schenk was appointed by Ex-Gov. Gray Davis to a four-year term on the commission, which was formed to provide bipartisan support and guidance to the state government and the private sector. The lieutenant governor chairs and staffs the 17-member commission, with three members each being named by the Senate Rules Committee and the Assembly speaker.  |
