News ArticlesJewish Times19 Dec 2003 Shari Schenk AppointedShari Schenk, director of marketing at the law offices of Casey Gerry Reed & Schenk, has been named a member of the State Commission for Economic Development. She was appointed to a four-year term on the Commission, which was formed to provide bipartisan support and guidance to the state government and the private sector — for the optimum economic development of the state.
Schenk earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tufts University and an MBA in marketing from San Diego State University. She is a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Foundation program for leadership development. She currently serves on the board of the Lawrence Family JCC and is actively involved in the San Diego Jewish Academy. She is a former president of the Agency for Jewish Education, and was a board member of the UJF Women’s Division from 1994 until this year.  |
