News ArticlesDaily Transcript30 Mar 2005 Francavilla named CASD presidentRobert Francavilla, a partner at Casey, Gerry, Reed & Schenk, has been appointed president of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego (CASD), an organization of trial lawyers whose focus is to preserve and protect the legal rights of consumers.
As president, Francavilla will spearhead CASD's board of directors for a one-year term. "We are honored that Robert will oversee this important organization ... and, along with vice president Gayle Blatt, represent our firm on its board," said David Casey, Jr., senior partner of Casey, Gerry, Reed & Schenk. The three-time recipient of the organization's Outstanding Trial Lawyer award is a longtime CASD member and active board member. Francavilla focuses his trial practice on all aspects of serious personal injury and wrongful death actions, including product liability, automotive litigation, premises liability and highway design matters.
