T. Michael Reed

One of the most respected positions within any law firm is to serve “of counsel.”  In this position, T. Michael Reed has become a trusted advisor to the attorneys at Casey Gerry, providing insight and guidance on structuring tactics for all phases of trial.

Mr. Reed achieved his position through a career dedicated to representing those injured by others; in fact, he won eight jury verdicts of over $1 million, including two cases of $12 and $14 million. His experience was further validated as his peers in the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association (SDTLA) voted him twice as the Trial Lawyer of the Year. Furthermore, Mr. Reed was also a 6-time recipient of the SDTLA Outstanding Advocate award and was included in the book “Best Lawyers in America” from 1987 until he retired in 2002.
 
Moreover, after his years of service to the firm and the community, Mr. Reed is still associated with Casey Gerry because of the firm’s reputation as an advocate and voice of those that have suffered because of another and need representation to address their situation. Indeed, the relationship Mr. Reed has with Casey Gerry reflects the relationship Casey Gerry has with San Diego; no firm in San Diego has a longer history or commitment to representing the injured.

In his free time, he enjoys playing golf with a 2-4 handicap and spending time with his wife, Helen, and their family of pets, which include a German Shepherd and several horses.
