Wendy M. Behan, an associate of the firm, practices in the areas of
personal injury and
pharmaceutical products liability. She has been involved in the litigation against the manufacturers of Rezulin, Propulsid, Baycol and Metabolife. She was also an integral member of the litigation team in the lawsuits filed on behalf of American Prisoners of War who were brutally abused and exploited as slave laborers by Japanese companies during World War II.
Ms. Behan graduated
cum laude and earned honors including Dean’s List, the Wiley W. Manual
Pro Bono Services Award and an American Jurisprudence Award.
Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Ms. Behan performed internships at the U.S. Attorney's Office; the Office of Corporate Counsel, Washington, D.C.; the San Diego Public Defender, Juvenile Delinquency Division; and the U.S. Trustee's Office. She also clerked for San Diego Superior Court Judge Susan D. Huguenor in Juvenile Court.
Ms. Behan is currently serving as a board member of
Lawyers Club of San Diego.
In her spare time, Ms. Behan enjoys playing in a competitive indoor soccer league and, most of all, spending time with her husband and their two young sons.
